got this kit off ebay for about 4 dollars and made my own harness so i didnt have to tap into anything on my bike. drill a small hole for the switch in the plastic piece inside the storage compartment under the passenger seat. if you don't look close you wont find it turned out really well i think. let me know what you think.

nice looks sick i plan on doin more when i get my bike this month. finally gettin it shipped down to my duty station cant wait to ride her

yeh and its only single bulb leds that i wired up. they are bright enough for now. I only wanted to send a beam of light across the cylinders to show off the motor a bit but I haven't used them since that night cuz I haven't taken it to any kind of bike shows since I've been in training all last year and now i've been with out the bike since last march. It will get to me July 12th and then its gettin more parts I posted up another thread for the license plate relocation i did check it let me know what you guys think. It was pretty easy and I like the way it looks but might end up relocatin it again.

Anyone remember the ebay item numbers? I'm interested in doing this but don't want to spend too much or buy a ****** set up. These look great!

I dont remember numbers but they are single LED bulbs that you can buy and they have a power and ground. comes with switch and some crimp connectors. best bet is to do a search on ebay for LED engine lights or something similar to this. the ones I have I'm upgrading or figuring out a different way to mount them. they mount with double sided sticky tape to the inside of the frame. haven't had a problem with them falling off or anything but would like them mounted differently. There are alot of different colors offered just do a search and find the ones you like.

$4??? Are you serious?? That's a hell of a deal![up] Job looks good! I'm thinking about doing reds on mine.

a friend of mine has 2 different colors on his. he mounted green and orange led's next to each other around his engine.

and wired them up on separate switches so he can have one or the other on or both of them on.

i tell ya the first time i rode with him at night before he told me about the 2 different led colors i thought i lost him. went he went into a corner green led's lit and i lost sight of him, when i finally came out of the corner there was this bike with orange led's going into the next corner...

hahahaha

looks really cool with both of them on too though...

yep $4 plus s&h but it was only about 5 bucks for shipping, you know how ebay is. sometimes you pay more for shipping than the part you buy hahah. I'll see if I can find the guy I bought them from, all he has is LED lights I believe thats like his specialty or something.

I would agree, it looks cool, but.....because you bought a Buell, you're different from the metric crowd. Why try to stand out by having pretty lights? Let your bike stand on it's own. Just my 2 cents, Wayne
