Exhaust advice. (Non aftermarket)

[confused]. So when I bought my bike (05 xb12r) it came with a race ecm and "aftermarket" exhaust. Witch was actually a completely hollow titanium dirt bike muffler that the kid riveted onto a jardine elbow. So I found a stock exhaust in craigslist off a xb 12 and I'm going to pick it up this weekend. Eventually I'm gonna ship it off to either hawk or special ops but in the meantime( while I'm saving my money) I want to run the stock pipe and get that pos can off there. My question is that my ECM does not move the actuator valve since it's a race ecm. And wAs wondering what to do about that valve. Wire it open? Leave it closed? Half way? Any suggestions ?

I'd wire it open. Only because in most exhaust modification the valve is eliminated.
