Hi, does anyone know if it is possible mounting a 2005 header of a 12xb buell on a 2009 xb buell?
I'm from Europe ( Italy) and so are the bikes.
Thanks

I don't believe so. I think that there ate two O2 sensors in the '10 header for better air fuel ratios. Check and see, but if you own a '10 that will tell you, an '05 has only on O2 bung.

My bike has only one sensor, like all the others buells.
I believe that the only think that can give my hard time is the space between the oil pump on the right side and the header of the rear cilinder; However if I bent a little the header should be ok...

yes you can, but you'll have to adjust fuel ratio, otherwise your bike will run like crap.

Thanks LeFox, I have a pro series ecm so I should be ok about fuel ratio.
Once I install it I'll let you know.

what exhaust do you have?

keep in mind what kind of ecm you have, if it's for a 2009 it will be calculated for a system with catalyst, which you will remove by changing the headers.

I have a ecm from ebracing, that is made for a jardine exhaust sistem.
However, the catalyser is not in the header, but at the collar of the drummer itself.
I knkow that becouse I manage to remouve it.
At the moment I have the original drummer,(without the catalyser, that here we call a "bee's net"), but shortly I will buy a jardine exhaust.
