Hi,I posted this question a while back, since my bike was put back together after putting new gaskets on the rocker covers I sometimes smell exhaust fumes,I have checked but do not see anything out of place or loose,at first I thought it may be doing this since I also did the breather reroute or possibly the new gaskets but that does not seem likely, put this under a new topic because I didn't get any answer to this on my oil leak topic so sorry for the new post.:D

I smell exhaust all the time on mine :D. Not much of an emissions deal going on. Is it more than what your used to? Others smell it to or coukd it be paranoia since you just got it back togather

Yeah,I thought maybe paranoia too:D,like I said I only started to smell it after everything was put back on,it runs great with no other issues than the exhaust smell, just seems like I can smell it more, thanks for the answer Crazy,:D.

Your buell has an internal combustion engine which makes power from exploding gasoline. This causes exhaust to me emited from the muffler which has a certain smell to it. I believe this is most likely what you are smelling.

netty, you ate paint chips,I ate small rocks when I was a kid:D,and bobaganoosh I did think of the muffler since I had it off when the engine was rotated while putting new gaskets on,thanks for the suggestion.:D.
