Extra rear caliper parts?

I just replaced the rear tire on my 2006 Ulysses. In the process two cylindrical rubber pieces appeared. They are about 13/16 inch long and 3/8 inch diameter. I think they appeared when I removed the rear caliper. I cannot tell where they belong. The manual has an exploded view of the front caliper but not the rear. Any suggestions? This the second time I have replaced the rear tire, and I can't recall having seen these pieces before.

No, they are solid rubber, not tubes.

They may have come from somewhere else on the bike. But where? Saddle bags? Seat?

Problem solved. They are cushions in the saddle bags where they meet the frame.
