so... i still havent been able to decide a colour for hte CR since putting on the panel kit. lucky too, as she bottoms out when putting the stick to her on our country roads, so i have ended up trimming the belly pan back. still looks good. actually, i think better.

but, back to the progress... graphics! following some good vibes of others i decided that i havent seen it done here in Aus, that i would do this for Phillip Island WSBK this coming weekend.

Did you clear it yourself?
You need more clear coat. Wet sand with 1000 grit in between and put on at least 3 coats. I used (6-7) Finish wet sand with 1200 grit. Also if you didnt use u.v paint marker then use u.v. clear coat. It will preserve you nice art for years to come. Not a prince fan but it looks very very nice.

Maybe paint the rear plastics with a white paint marker? I would love to see that. Have not seen that done yet.

jobe... relax buddy! just take it in. dont worry about hte advice mate. its a temp thing till i next decide what i am doing.

sharpie takes soem effort. you gotta just relax and let it flow. and jsut work space to space all over hte place. but looking good i think. just enough for some fun next weekend.

cheers dave... dont know about top 5, but i like it... at present. see what happens next.

its something i like about buells is that if you have a good selection of panels, you can change em as often and as much as you want.

my outdoor setting has three sets of buell plastics sitting on it right now.

OT- what mirrors are those? I like that you dont really notice them when looking at the CR

definitely looks good I think. If you do plan on staying with the looks of the sharpie, Jobe's idea isnt too bad... try the white marker on the black plastics. Definitely like the looks "as is" too!

boreas... those are pushbike mirrors... cateye 500. need a little modding to fit het CR bars, but work perfect on XB.

i ahve the original tail and front fairing on at present. i have sparyed the other set white, but dont think i will get it done before i leave on wednesday.

and dont get too excited... it probably wont stay this way. jsut a bit of fun.
