Well, I've been searching and gaining knowledge from this forum for about 2-3 months. The more I read about the Buell lightning and Firebolt, the more I wanted one. I was finally able to buy a blue 2003 XB9R about a week and a half ago. I haven't really had the need yet to introduce myself and ask any questions since it seemed like every time I had a question, Google would point me to this site and I'd find the answer. This is my first bike (I had only ridden dirt bikes before)....I've ridden it a couple times so far and I love it. Now, if only the weather would warm up some and quit raining!

Oh yeah, I also wanted to say thanks to everyone for massive amount of info on this site. This place is awesome!

As a great forum member once said....if there are no pictures then it didn't happen!

:D
Let's see it

Dammit, stole my line lol

Welcome to the insanity...

err I mean addiction, no, um...

aw screw it, welcome and congrats!

Here are a couple crappy pics that I have on my cell phone. I'm not too crazy about the aftermarket windscreen, but it'll do for now.

Its a 2005 Pontiac GTO....which, from what I've read, is pretty much a left hand drive Holden Monaro....I don't know if they are close in performance, but they look pretty close.

Yeah, pretty funny huh? Even funnier is the fact that I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 that is blue as well. I was looking at a couple different buells that weren't blue, but the blue one was the best deal. Out of the 3 blue vehicles I have, I really only wanted the GTO to be blue (with the matching blue interior). The Buell and the Dodge I got because they were good deals at the time I was looking. It's crazy how that worked out! At least my wife's car isn't blue LOL!

welcome to the forum i love the blue bolts, they're sick, i like blue as well. enjoy the knowledge of this forum and all the other shenanagans we partake in here :D

Welcome to the board! I had an XB9R a while back and loved it every day...until I sold it, after I picked up my 1125R. Wish I hadnt sold it though. (not that I liked it better, but it was still a great bike)

Welcome to the forum!!! I am still relatively new here as well and despite recent blips this site has been awesome.
