Finally rode my soon to be Buell

II have to say, it's a very unique bike. I'm used to the Yamaha group (mostly R1s) and other 1 ltr supersports, and this is totally different.

The bike I'm looking at is a 07 XB12Scg. It's in ok if not fair shape. It has been outside (never garaged) condition, so it's probably looking forward to being in my garage, vs sitting in the elements.

But, I can't believe how it rides. It is very nimble, cuts corners like there is no tomorrow. I'm not very impressed with the horspower (coming from a bike with 180 HP), but OMG there is SOOOO MUCH torque. The short wheelbase with the lower center of gravity will make it awesome for the track.

All in all, I'm pretty impressed, and can't wait till the end of the month (probably) to get it. I'm just waiting on my buddy, since it's his only means of transportation.

Yeah its amazing how over rated hp is when you have usable torque good luck with your purchase!

if you miss the hp there are ways to fix that. just depends how much you want to invest.
