I currently have a XB12r and love every minute of it. However I am interested in purchasing a bike to take to the track and not beat up my XB. I would really love an EBR but do not want to have it be my first track bike so I am toying with the idea of getting an 1125r for that purpose as well as riding the hell out of it of course. I just have a few questions for those of you who know your stuff on them. What are the differences in the years produced? I know the XB had some upgrades throughout the years, are there any with the 1125? Are there any specific things I should look/listen for when looking around? Years to get or stay away from? Are the rotax motors more difficult to work on? And suggestions or advice is much appreciated.

09 &10 have stator overheating problems causing failures. EBR made a fix for this but it's not available till EBR store opens again
08 has a clutch weep problem. I have a 08 with 15600 miles on it no problems

Found an awesome 09 with extremely low miles that was well taken care of. 5-0dro can get the stator fix for the 09-10 from across the pond. A little expansive but I'm just excited for the bike. Should I replace before I have a problem or ride it till it fails?

really Bambam? I'm not going there. LOL. Seems like somewhere I came across the manufacture numbers for color combos produced but have no idea of where I saved it to.

No worries, I found exactly what I was looking for. Well Lunatic found it for me but it came up at the perfect time. If you happen to find it I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one interested though.

I do love that blue and white 1125r. I've seen 1 with full fairings. It's awesome. I had an 1125r first then a xb12r 2 years later. I thought both bikes were great. 1125r ran much cooler. Firebolt is like riding an oven down here in deep south AL. I no longer have either bike. Miss them both.
