Well it all started last September, when I found a 2003 XB9S on craigslist. The day I went to test ride it, I knew it was love at first sight. So papers were signed, money exchanged hands, and I brought home this:

It has the racing exhaust and ECU, as well as the low cg suspension kit.

It's my first "real" motorcycle, and is a welcome addition to my other two addictions (jeeps and guns).
I have been browsing the site a bit, and like what I'm seeing so far, and am anxious to learn more.

u are lucky to have the ecm and exhaust. i have the same and absolutely love the feel and sound of the bike.

did you paint it? not too crazy about the green or the seat rails, but a great bike nonetheless.

here's mine...

The PO painted it. I wasn't too sure about the green at first, but its grown on me, and is definitely unique. Its Arctic Cat green FYI.

cool. well great bike nonetheless and again, the race ECM and exhaust are incredible in my opinion.

Also, where is that pic taken? What a gorgeous ride.

i dig the green! congrats on you new toy, and what do you carry? ruger gp100 for me.

here's one of my guns...hilarious and fun as hell to shoot. not my video, but same gun

GUN

303xb- Cool Mosin, M44's are my favorite. I took the pics today, I was riding along the shore of Lake Michigan in Manitowoc, WI.

1stxb9r- I live in the peoples republik of wisconsin, so concealed carry isn't something I can do. If I could though, I would carry my Sig P6. Long range precision rifles are more my thing.

Kickass bike, that green really stands out. I see there are some other Mosin Nagant fans here. I have a 91/30 myself, fun and cheap to boot. My favorite though is my Springfield 1911.

reload, reload, reload, took some time for me to learn about all the little details but worth it when I can reload 50 rounds for my .357 for about .05 a bullet!!

Tuck- Wisconsin doesn't have right to carry? WTF I thought that was the mid-west too!! (i'm from (Indiana)

You guys are paying too much for Mosin ammo, I paid 14 cents a round for my first can and 17 cents a round for my second- all boat tailed armor piercing. The cylindrical powder grains pack one hell of a punch too!

Oh, love the green! [up]
