Fork Sizing Problems????

I am looking at doing a custom front light assembly but I am finding it hard to see what the outside diameter on a set of 03xb forks and 99 x1 forks are? The 99 x1 has a bracket that would work great for what I need but I am not sure if it will fit on an XB. I know of the tapper on the XB but even if a bit of tweaking is needed I can work it.

Can anyone help?
