Frame Paint

Was wondering if there was any paint I could get to touch up my swing arm on my black 1125cr. The "high dollar" rear race stand is garbage and put some scratches on it

Yeah, think I am going to do that Dave but probably going to get a new one ha. I kind of raged and threw the stand, had a tough day... ha.

Bummer. It happens. Don't stress though. Get some touch up paint and a model paint brush. Spray it into a party up and brush the paint on the scratches. It's already a textured finish. You'll probably never see the difference.

U can get it from any HD dealer also. But yes do what Dave says except spray it in a party cup not a party up. Lol sorry Dave I had to

Yeah, I think I may have over-reacted by throwing that stand ha but I sure felt better.

Not to hijack your thread, shlol, but what is a good stand to get for my 09 1125Cr? I do all my maintenance and crap on the kickstand and it's a mother trucker.

I have a t-rex stand but I also bought their lift spool. The buell factory ones suck imo.

I've heard of those and the Pitbull stands. Not really sure which one to get. Anything would be better than just my kickstand. Maintenance on my Cr can be difficult lol

Eastwood company has a "satin" black Powder Coat color that is a perfect match to the black frame paint and also has the same rough texture, i have done both rear pegs and shift/brake levers and they all match, I'll try to get some pics. I wonder if the factory applied stuff is actually paint or PC?

it is powder coat i am having a hell of a time getting insurance quote my bike got scratched to hell in my move. you can get that paint at most harley shops and ASB like everyone else said. as far as track stand i know a few guys like the ones from harbor freight thats the one im looking at
