Frame pucks?

Anyone know where I can get some frame pucks (frame slider) for my CR? I been trying to find some but I can't find a website that sells any. Buellparts.net says they are on back order.

Any help is appreciated...

Any frame pucks that fit the XBs will fit. Just have to wait, or hit up ebay. Sometimes you can find harley shops selling them to get rid of left over stock.

Yes, as he said, these are closer to working then the normal XB ones (from SS and X).

You already have frame pucks. They are called radiator shrouds.

I would like to try and keep my shrouds intact, thats why I want the frame pucks.

how is the pucks going to save the shrouds if the shrouds hit the ground before the pucks?

Heat them for shape and stick the pucks on the shrouds? That would make it wide as hell though wouldn't it?

In most photos I've seen the pucks stick out further than the shrouds...

Besides the pucks are just back ups, I layed out my last 1125. The handlebars do a pretty good job of keeping the shrouds off the ground as long as they aren't turned too far.

I'm getting ready to do this mod. I'll take detailed pics. I ordered the Ulysses pucks and the 3M primer (purchased four vials on ebay for around $7) called out in the directions.

From what I've read, they barely clear the pods. I did a dry fit and it looks like they'll just fit.

I bought them for added frame protection (damage from bars, etc.). I hope to never have to use the pucks.

I was really glad to have the pucks on my cr. If I hadn't my bike would have been totaled our when I wrecked it last summer. Instead I was able to rebuild it with minimal effort. The radiator brackets, pods radiators. Wheels. Were whole headlight assembly. The frame had one scratch from the radiator bracket behind the left pod.
Definately, get the pucks.
