front isolator mount gap?

im looking at my front isolator mount and it looks like it isnt screwed all the way in. is this gap correct or does this need some torque applied?

Here is what a brand new one looks like. If the gap isn’t present, it means the rubber bushing has failed and the bolt head is all that is holding the engine from falling out. Literally.

An XB motor is only held in by 2 bolts. Well, 3 if you consider the shock mount.

when iI get the new isolators we will also have a poly "washer" to fill that gap to reduce wear on the islolator
