Alright, I'm not giving up...more like giving in. What can I say...wives happen. The bike actually isn't that badly damaged, but repairs will cost more than I can spare at the moment. I have a clear title in hand and it has 17455 recorded miles up to the moment we both slid into the ditch. It seems the only things physically missing are the right controls, throttle, throttle cables, front blinkers, and the entire front cluster/light bracket. The front wheel is warped, one of the shocks tubes look bent, theres a dent where the right puck was (which looks easy to cover up with a new puck), and one of the exhaust pipes has slight road rash. No oil leaks or leaks from the tank what so ever. It will power on, but there is not enough battery power to turn over the starter when I tried to jumper it (7v at the time). I have the battery on charge and will reattempt to fire it up this weekend. Local pickup preferred near tallahassee, fl...$1500 gets it.

It lives! I charged the battery over night and the bike fired right up. One hand was used to jumper the right controls to get the fuel pump going and the starter to kick over, and the other hand managed the throttle. The bike sounds great and seems to run like normal. I checked the shifter as well and made sure it is going through all of the gears. The transmission is sound. At this point the bike sounded too good... :D I'm a little disappointed to be honest. :( My lose your gain.
