For sale is my 2003 Buell XB9S Lighting with ~10,700 miles on the odometer.

Located in Orange County, California.

The 10K service was performed by Harley in Irvine and was $600. All Synthetic fluids used.

Runs excellent. No issues.

The bike has a ton of extras:
Titanium Jardine Exhaust I also have the stock one.
Mudguard, fork guards and handguards off a Buell XB12X. I also have stock fender if you don't dig the hypermotard look.
Adjustable levers
HID headlights
Aprillia Tuono Mirrors They have a better field of vision and don't vibrate like the stock ones.
Buell Speedometer rewire kit fixes common problem of blowing the speedometer sensor in the transmission case
Buell frame sliders.
R&G rear stand spools and swingarm sliders.
Including the owners manual and can burn a pdf copy of the service manual.
Currently has Dunlop SportMax dual compound tires with plenty of life left.

The bike is always stored indoors and regularly serviced. It shows very few signs of wear.

Asking $4500 or will consider trades for a modern triumph scrambler, a moto guzzi v7 classic, or a Ducati GT 1000.
Please no lowball offers. I will not part out the bike.
Test rides only with cash in hand. I also have a Buell blast for sale and would consider making a deal for both.

You will be lucky to get $3500. Just being honest regardless of all the cool **** that you installed it is still just an xb9 with 10,000 miles. Probably make more money by stripping off the aftermarket and selling them seperately

Sorry to thread jack but please tell me more about this speedo rewire!

I blew out two speedo sensors around 9K miles. After the second one, I looked around on the internet and there is a rewire kit that forces the speedometer sensor to be wired through the fuse box. It was never a recall, but a common problem. Basically, the kit was a new sensor with longer wires and some splice kits and instructions. I think Al at american sportbike can get them.

I dig that style if i could find some stt/uly parts i dress mine out like that very cool [up]

Hmm.... ill have to do some research. Great looking bike man. Good luck with the sale.

Still available. Will throw in a like new full face helmet and an alpinestars textile jacket.
