I know someone has modded there Blast for fuel injection I cant find a topic on it so if anyone did it can you list how and what parts to use and if now you feel it was worth the cost Thanks in advance

Got one on a blast/xb build. You need the ecm, wiring harness, throttlebody with modifications to make it single sided as well as welding the intake flange for mounting, an 02 sensor is also needed. You can add a temp sensor if you get one and tap the top of the head to add it, for ecm setup run only one cylinder use the XB9 map as a base point then tune from there

Yes I've done it, no I was not the first. Though my method differs from Loose1's in that I'm using an external pump and regulator with an otherwise stock Blast fuel tank. Loose1 built a secondary tank and utilized an XB in-tank pump and regulator.

I've datalogged countless hours and built my own maps. Though Loose1 did send me his originally, I started from scratch with stock XB9 maps since our builds differed on several key points (cam timing, exhaust, compression ratio, etc).

You do not need to modify the throttle body if you don't want to. You cannot just "weld the intake flange" seeing as the throttle body is cast aluminum and the flange is steel. Obviously you don't know what you're talking about.

I could take the throttle body off my Blast as it sits and use it on my XB9R with no issues. The throttle body is 100% stock. I do have a modified throttle body sitting on the bench for another project, but my point is that you don't need to modify it.

No you don't HAVE to modify it, but it can and has been done.

I guess the intake flange wasn't welded onto this intake... my bad, don't know what I'm talking about....

Make up your mind.

Stock flanges are steel. If that is an aluminum flange, it was custom. If you're going custom, then anything is possible. You can braze steel and aluminum together, but it's not welded and not as strong. Even TwinMotorcycles makes their new flanges out of stainless.

However...

You need to quit throwing that "need" word around so much.

You don't need to modify the throttlebody at all and you certainly don't need to have an aluminum flange made for purposes of welding.

Possible? Yes, I've done it. I have one bone-stock throttle body that is currently installed on my EFI'd Blast. I have a chopped/welded throttle body sitting on the bench.

Now when you're done swinging on Loose1's nuts (I'm sure he appreciates it and I'm not detracting from his awesome build), come back and maybe you can hold an intelligent conversation.

There's a proper way to do something then there's a half ass slap it on there way. Just like some asking if they "need" to tune their bike after doing modifications like exhaust etc. Well there is the half ass slap it on way and then there is the do it right and tune it way.

Loose1 did an awesome job and I'm just referencing it as an example, not hanging on anyone's nuts. Belittling and nitpicking everything is not an intelligent conversation. A throttlebody for a twin matted to a single does not allow proper air flow for the single as it should due to the design. Just like putting an efi system on a carb motor without utilizing all the sensor inputs that make an efi system work properly.
