I'm just passing this along. I went and looked at this bike today. It's a little rougher than I want, but it might be OK for someone else. The following is a description of what I found. There may be other things wrong also, but this is what I came across as I inspected. 2009 XB9SX hero blue. 21000 miles, the air box cover is cracked in multiple places, there's a small dent in the right front frame near the puck, both pucks look like they've been off the bike and glued back on, the complete tail section is missing - yes, gone completely, there is an aftermarket tail light that has the turn signals built-in, only the right side was working, there are no external turn signals on the rear, there's no low beam headlight only hi beam, the housing is there just no bulb, there are small scratches and gouges on the bottom side of the frame and the left-back bottom of the swing arm, the bottom of the bike is a little moist with oil but not bad, I could not tell where the leak is, the air box mounting tabs are broken and the air box is discolored in several places, it has aftermarket Clutch and Brake levers and no mirrors, there were only 2 screws holding the chin spoiler, it has a couple of small tears on the edge of the seat, the bike stumbles on cold idle and has a pretty big clunk when you put it in first gear. On the plus side the tires are in great shape. I did not ride the bike because it was not in the shape that I was interested in. I just thought I would give a rundown of the things I spotted in case anybody wanted to know. $2990 is a tempting price, but it needs lots of little things. I'm sure I missed some things but this will give people a general idea about the bike. The bike is in the Greenville, SC Craigslist. Here's a link. The pictures look really good. They fooled me. I drove 3.5 hrs to and 3.5 hrs from today for a total of 7 hours. I was told it has a clean title but i did not verify. Caveat emptor.
