Actually I had a bad wreck 9 yrs ago was paralyzed for about a year... Now have 3 dislocated vertebra, back hurts everyday... I was ran off the road. No helmet no jacket 60mph woke up a week later.... I have a padded jacket,helmet, boots as well as body armor for hot days.. Want leathers. I'm looking at some sliders and tank pucks as I would really like a track day.

Damn man, you are lucky. I rode last year with just a helmet. This year i got a ballistics jacket and looking into some good thick riding jeans with the kevlar in them and some gloves. Everybody be safe out there!!!

similar thing happened to me in 1994..went trough an intersection then woke up in the hospital 4 days later.. I had no idea someone ran a red light right in front of me. I still dont remember it to this day. My chin strap was too loose and my helmet came off during impact. Frontal left interventricular brain hemmorage. Residual paralysis on the right side for 2 months.. re arranged vocabulary for about 6 months.. brain damage is a bitch aint it? ha ha Took me 4 months before I could walk in a straight line! fish.. look into those Knox knee and shin gaurds that I show in that video.. I battle tested them.. they work great.

I don't remember it at all, or much of anything before it including childhood...

yeah, you "got it bad".. It all came back to me over a few years. If its been 9 years for you then thats just "data lost"..you MAY get a little bit more back over time but its unlikely. Dont worry about it.. just live your life and have fun. We only got one life to live and dont sweat the small ****. Feels good to ride again, doesnt it? Its like coming to terms with it. Were all gonna die eventually anway.. Id rather die living a full life and doing what I want to do instead of just laying up and dying in some old folks home after living a long and unsatisfying life where you didnt get to do any of the **** you love to do.

yeah I see alot guys without knee protection.. that last one would have busted my knee cap off or ground it down to the bone.. my leg was trapped under the bike for a second or two.. Id be layed up in some hospital right now without that knee armor.. but with it Im already back riding again.. got it all fixed for 125 now Im just waiting on my new Helmet to get here..

People suck... I assume that every driver doesn't see me, doesn't care, or are just stupid. So I Drive It Like I Stole It! Though I anticipate the worst all the time. I stay very aware, have had my arm in a guys window cause he came over on top of me so I slapped him. Been cut off, pull out in front of... just have an exit plan... Where can I go if they do something dumb... After a while it's a habit and you don't relize your doing it and it's made me avoid accidents while driving in cars... Other drivers are the real danger

Man I got back on about six months after I could walk. I have the same outlook on life though...live as if you'll die tomorrow... I do what I love every chance I get.

I COULDNT get back on that quick.. my family had me guilt-tripped to the max just for me telling them I wanted to ride again.. I had to let them cool off ... my accident put them through alot of worry.

So I took it for a ride today.... Test ride couple miles new tire feels good it plus new bearings from all balls racing ($12 frnt .$24 rear set) amazon fixed wobble I had during hard braking end of last year. Whew didn't want to buy a rotor...rear slipped a little but its cool out still probly go ahead and order a 2CT for the rear, dontlike riding mismatched anyway...Exhaust wrap smoked for for a while but stopped.. Led signals worked... Levers feel great need to adjust clutch cable badly, tomorrow...Breather mod feels great didn't relize at first then I thought its smoother not as jerky oh wow really nice mod wish I did that 6 years ago... I do have race ECM, drummer exh, k&n, its track tuned may be why it's so noticeable...
