Getting a bike shipped

So i have some planning to do. In Octber when im home from deployment im buying a bike. Bike is located in michigan. I will be in Dallas tx. How much does it cost to have a bike shipped? bike is private owned. itd be a pretty penny in gas driving a truck there and back.

Check out uShip. I've used it 3-4 times now to move bikes long and short distances. Works like a charm every time.

I shipped one about 800 miles once, cost me about $600, its not cheap

Only cost $1700 to ship my wife's car from Boston to Honolulu.

When I was getting ready to leave for my deployment to Germany I looked into getting my bike shipped out...only $2500....each way!!!
