how can I get an exhaust like this one:

I know that to get this kind of color, it will not be only chrome but what is it?

is the color will change with the heat?
what do you think?

I wouldn't actually mind doing that to my pipes, though it goes in storage when it's too cold to ride, and when it's warm enough to ride, my pipes are never cool enough to take off because the only time im not riding is when i'm at work, college, or sleeping.

I don't take them off. Of course mine don't look as nice as xtreme's though Don't let this process intimidate you though...It's really quite simple and doesn't take too much time to do. I do it every year. if you're really worried for when it's in storage, you could always oil them down during that time. They'r eno less protected than when they were new...
