Got me some rim tape

Got some red rim tape to match the subframe....whatcha think?

Also did some faux carbom fiber on the triple tree, not sure on this one yet

Looks good! I like it, where did you get the carbon fiber cover on the upper triple?

Looking good. That helps tie in the red subframe. I keep looking for a little more red, but I don't know what, without over doing it?

The carbon fiber is 3M DINOC. I have some black and red grips I might toss on there, but that will probably be it for the red, don't want too much

Anodized red tire valve stem covers.

[up] levers and grips in red, though you just stripped the levers...maybe the headlight bezels in red? just a thought

Ordered the rim tape from a local bike shop. Progrip makes it. One pack is just enough to do 2 rims, and it comes with a handy little applicator to get it on evenly. We will see how well it holds up.
I do have some red valve caps that I have yet to put on, and I may try reanodizing the levers this winter once I have the time to set up a small anodizing bucket in my basement

where did you get the red tape from?

jobolt: all local auto parts stores stock it. it is 1/4 inch tomato red auto striping, like 25 feet to a roll and about $5. just make sure rim is super clean and wax free, and at room temp when applying. i've striped the rims on all my buells and it adds a bit of color to the wheels.
