Has anyone thought of using Skype while working on their bikes if and when you don't have a fellow Bueller physically present helping out? Think about it, someone live to talk with, no waiting on pictures to be posted in order to reply and help out. Have been using Skype since '04 while deployed overseas, if you have a descent net connection, you're good to go. I'm open to this, anyone else? If so, pm me and I'll give you my Skype user name.
Just a thought and another avenue to connect and get help or simply goof off:D

I think "Chat" functionality here would be a benefit, I like to think MOST of us regulars are mature and considerate enough to be able to use it for it's intended purpose, things like tuning, and maintenance when you need a more real time advice, plus you could still post pics and just give lead to them in the chat room. Create a buellxb chatroom - I think Skype can do it. I wonder if you can do it using facebook since that seems to be widely popular.

That would be an awesome idea. I believe alot of good can come of this and the less mechanically inclined Buellers can benefit, for sure!!!

I was kinda hoping for something that only we, the members, could use, keep down the number of trollers and instigators, plus, it would serve to build a history, so new folks could get a clue as to who is actually helpful, and not just some random A$$HAT stirring up drama

facebook has a video chat, used it last year when I was in Saudi Arabia, it was ok...

that's exactly my point with using Skype, and it's free. If there is something that you're not sure of and need a visual, simply turn your computer around and the person on the other end can see what you're talking about, this would be in effect right then and there, no waiting for someone to chime in on the issue at hand. you can still split screen while on Skype and be on the forum too.

I think the facebook chat is skype powered.
Those of us in the fb group could use that for now, until the website skype connection gets up and running.
