Hate that belt guard.

Good god it's a pain putting on the rear wheel with the 03 belt guard on the bike. I remember someone else asking forever ago how you're supposed to get the rear wheel off, and I remember thinking "what's he talking about?? You just slide the axle out and the wheel pops right out. I had pulled the belt guard off pretty soon after I got the bike so I never had to deal with it. I just put it back on the bike though, and I can testify to it being a massive hassle. I had to pull the brake caliper, the right rearset/peg, unbolt the swingarm brace and unbolt the top outer belt cover. Once I got that far it went nice and easy. You 05+ guys have it easy!

I just tool my belt guards off, and left them off!!!

It sounds almost as aggravating as the dieselmoto tail lifts that dont fit correctly, and don't have the bolt holes drilled precisely enough

lol i was about to say when i changed my tires on my 08 it was as easy as the last blonde in the bar [cool]
