The procrastination has ended. Pipe and ECM en route to Georgia. So close that cheap UPS ground takes the same time as second day.
Yahoo! Can't wait to get it back.

Fishgutz - You will love this exhaust!!! I just got mine from Randy last night and Oh Sweet Baby Jesus is this a piece of art! LOL It was easy to swap them out (and of course Randy was available by phone at 10pm his time since I am in California, to help me out)and the sound alone was worth the wait. Randy is by far the best![up]

Took me maybe 15 minutes to get it off for shipping. The lock tite on the threads does make a disconcerting noise when I spun the ratchet too fast. But once I realized what it was, I kept going, just more gently.
The socket extension makes it Easy peazy lemon squeazy.
I can't believe the Drummer instructions for removing the exhaust include removing the rear wheel. Why on earth would anyone want to make it that difficult?

Randy is a man of many interests as well. He strikes me as someone who never satisfied with the status quo. Always an eye open for ways to improve things.
I don't doubt that if I bought a welder, he would produce a "how to" video on basic welding for us.

buelltech, I really havent ridden it that hard. But i do noticed a difference in the high rpms compared tyo the last time i rode it. I'm still running a stock air box with stock air filter. I know i need to change it. I'll get around to changing the ecm map, and airbox/filter..

hey fish whenever it warms up a bit we need to hit up 66. They repaved about half of the "good" part. And i cant wait to hear your bike with the hawk on it. Let me know when you plan on getting it dynoed and i will try to meet you at max speeds. i can dyno mine stock so there will be a rough stock vs hawk.

That is cool news on 66. I figured the residents would fight repaving since that will increase the MC traffic.

I am planning on taking my Ss over to Max on the first day above 50 after get the stuff back.

Can the hawk muffler still be used as Jack points like the stock muffler
i second this. doing clip ons this month and my tech asked if this is possible. Will call randy about the ecm reflash, once we dig out from snowmeggedon 2 here in DC haha.. I was using that term before Obama did.

Finally got home, and my Hawk was waiting for me. Looks terrific, can't wait to get it on the bike, but this stupid winter is driving me nuts.

Just got mine back from Randy yesterday. Got it back on, along with the new race ecm from Buell racing. It sounds great. Along with everywhere else it seems..gotta wait for the snow to melt for a test ride. Super quick turn around..thanks Randy.

WHY WHY WHY would you post that. I installed mine a week ago, and have not been able to fire it up due to weather. Maybe sometime next month I will be able too... Jealous, sounds great.

Mac, one of the reasons I moved my family south. Ha ha.
I love snow. Grew up in NH. Live in NE for all but my 4 years on the USAF. But it was time for a change.
I love the longer riding season in NC. We don't have to snows of New England or the drenching rains of FL and searing heat of AZ. Also not nearly as expensive as SoCal.
I recording a sound clip in the garage this AM. Saturated the mic on my iphone.
Supposed to get over 50 tomorrow and Saturday. I'll have my son hold the camera while I do a drive by. Or maybe I'll get a skinny friend to do it so y'all don't have to see what the Michelin Man would look like sitting on a Buell. :D

I have been trying to get a hold of Randy... Email works, phone # comes up as like a dial up tone/fax machine or its busy. Randy-- Any other suggestions? My pipe is all boxed up and ready to ship.
