Well sad to say I'm stressed. I scuffed my tail swinging my leg over. So I used novous number 2 then 1. Well now I got weird looking water marks in that area and they look bad. Is there anything I can use to pull those marks out?

I tried looking into buy a new tail but I can't find a new one in black.

I have mothers plastic polish. It looks almost like it's in the plastic. I can't believe that novous did that. I didn't rub hard or long. It's like the plastic soaked up the novous.

As soon as I can Ill post a picture. I did search and some say peanut butter, olive oil and a bunch of other stuff. I was wondering if there is something on the market that will pull the marks or "stain" to the surface.

See if this works, I know there is a huge bright spot but the marks are in front of it.

I cant really see anything from the picture except for a darker looking spot infront of the glare. These plastics are molded in color so the plastic in uniformly black all the way through. I dont think that Novus did that as im willing to bet every buell owner on here has some on hand when cleaning their plastics. The plastics also arent permeable that I know of.... has me stumped!

Yeah this posting of the pic isnt that great on here. I can email it if you want. Looks different on my pc. Im working on getting a better pic.

I've had very good luck with Novus. I mostly have done windshields, and instrument panel lens'. It's awesome stuff.

Not to sound like an ass but maybe it's your technique? What are you using to apply?

I used a micro fiber towel. Did the the directions said rub in circular motion let go till a white haze and rub off. Follow by #1.

Ill have to try that link you posted. It it uploaded to photo bucket and i click the image button on photo bucket and paste it in the forum window and it comes up with a broken link.

No one ever saw this before? I was going to try a clay bar with detail spray. Or get some high end glaze from a body shop. I have read that if you use wax on these plastics it can get into the layers of plastic and show a haze. I have never used wax on this bike.
