It only happened after 30 min or so but my headlight would go off then come back on. It would only happen at low rpm like at stoplights or stopsigns. It made me think the votage regulator was failing but the battery stayed fully charged. Thought about this and got out the dielectric grease did every connection under the flysereen going to the headlights and two days later it has not gone off once.

Cool story bra.

You do know that dielectric grease is an insulator not a conductor right? I'm glad the issue stopped, but with no testing or diagnosis, I can only hope the issue doesn't return:up:

I agree. I use it as well to help prevent corrosion in uninsulated connectors, and on marine applications like ground studs. I get to hear all the time how 'Dielectric grease made a better connection' when in fact it can make a poor connection worse. Just the act of unplugging and re-asembling the connector can be enough to clean the contacts, and that's usually where people get confused.
It doesn't have much to do with his story, I'm just nit-picking:eagerness:
