HELP!!! loud vibration and noise

I have a 2004 xb12r with around 27k miles. Aftermarket custom exhaust, started with a jardine can, k&n filter, and ecm spy race map. A few months ago i started hearing this low vibration and chattering sound, that has just gotten progressively worse. It starts around 2k rpms and gets louder. My friends mechanic tore it down and said the piston rod was coming lose and that the crankshaft would have to be replaced. I dont know too much about these, but what do yall think?

take a vid and upload it on youtube then give us the link. if the mechanic tore it down and you trust him then there is your answer

there are places you can send your engine to and have it rebuilt. all depends on how much you want to spend

Hes a friend of a friend but i trust the friend so.....know any places to score parts? Im a disabled vet on a limited budget so....

ok so the crank def needs to be rebuilt. the rod bearings are bad. Anybody have any experience with this? while the motor is torn apart, i was thinking about rebuilding it with more power. any suggestions?
