Its the Exo 500 and I was changing the internal speed view lens and the "hinge" / guides it rests in, is now flopping around like a loose tooth after getting the old shield out of it. Anyone come across this and know what's going on inside there? Can it be pushed back onto the hinge by pulling a certain way or a small screwdriver? It's the right sidento btw, not the side with the lever to raise and lower it. I really don't want to send it in or take it to be services. Any help appreciated

I had a hinge issue with my Bell C-note when I got it in the mail. Took it up to a loacal motorcycle shop that sells Bell helmets. Dude working there called the Bell sales rep and the rep had the guy pull a hinge off one of the helmets they had in stock, and he brought up a new hinge later on to replace that one. Surprised and appreciated the service, in turn I buy as much as I can from them.

Never know, might be a quick fix from a local shop who wants to earn your business Down the road.

Good luck.

That's the retracting guide for the inner shield, I'd think this happens now and then being there so fragile but Google is not your friend when searching this. Just shopping and reviews is all I found.
