So last week while riding i ended up getting a tiny hole in my rear tire. Darn, well time to patch it for the time being. I already needed to replace the front tire (its worse then this now)

So i wanted an excuse to burn the rear off but i decided before the hole to save it for a spare (it has good thread) but not anymore.
While out on my bicycle to get a air chuck to air up the tire and check the patch i popped my tire on my bicycle! Well poop.

Get the bike fixed and my friends and i go on a short little ease ride to see if the patch set it right. While riding into a turn (going slow mind you) my rear starts to shake back and forth. Get into town and i look at my rear tire and its getting low. Get to a stop sign and then it goes flat.
Turns out i got ANOTHER flat! This time a big ole nail!

Patched that beast up and after talking to my friends decided that this tire has to go, esp since last night i ordered new ones finally. Might as well have some fun with it right?

Well i decided to try out a rolling burn out. Turns out that wasnt the best idea ive had in a while. Bike comes out and hits the ground. Now let me take a minute and say how much i love that our bikes are pretty crash friendly cause the only real damage is my shift broke off, blinker, turn signal, grip has hole in it, and rim is scuffed only on the paint (front). Front fairing is lightly scuffed, oiler cooler, LSS, and the puck, well it did its job.
After i got up i looked at my friend and just shurgged my shoulders and said "Ah well". I am not upset at all over the deal as i know if youre going to do something stupid dont be mad when it doesnt go your way. :D
I also like to think that this is all ok because the right side grip has a hole in it from my other wreck, and the right side turn signal is slightly broken, also the right side puck is scuffed. So now i have good reason to replace all of them in pairs!

But im going for a ride this weekend with friends. I was wondering if any of you have:
shifter (Need!)
Clip on (asb has these cheap so this isnt a big deal)
oil cooler cover (possibly if cheap)
LSS 2008+ (only if cheap)
Pucks (left & right)

Thats pretty much all. I plan on ordering grips, pucks, clip on, turn signals later today.

Life isnt very kind to me right now (mother had to give me 150$ to help with tires) but i dont mind. I just moved into a new home (renting) and im a college student. The new home has an auto garage door opener, i dont need anything else! Dont get upset over the small stuff and just roll with life as it goes by.

Also since both mirrors are scratched i need some mirror block offs so i can put on my bar ends.

Sound like your week was as good as the one i had last week. Fortunatly im having a better go at it this week so far. Even got my bike out and rode a little. As far as block offs i just used acorn nuts and a bolt till i can afford asb block offs. Anyway hope your luck turns around.

I remember one of the guys on here that no one really liked did do something kinda cool with his mirrors. He used the bases and made his own block offs. Looked decent. Id find it for you but im lazy. Ito know Dave really didn't like him lol. The kid had vents all over and some lame tribal stickers on the swing arm.

And im with you on looks at things. I've always said don't sweat the petty. Pet the sweaty lol

I dont know how bad you scuffed up your air scoops but you could sand down the scratches . Primer coat a couple coats and sand so you get rid of the texture. Then paint gloss black. I painted mine to match and realy think they look good painted.

I have an oil cooler scoop you could take, but it has a slight scuff on it, never knew how it got there. Send me a pm if interested.

Ok so i got turn signals, grips, clip on, and shifter ordered. More then i thought :(. I hate being broke.

Brad, i think ill do what you suggested for the most part. Your bike is the model for mine ;)

Gtp, thank you. Ill keep in mind!
