I had a quick one for you.
I've recently decided it would be awesome to take a ride from Sacramento, CA (where i live) to Kodiak, AK.... it's not going to happen any time in the near future, but i was wondering what you all though about the Uly. as far as comfort and ability is concerned in undertaking this ride... Bad roads in CA, Beautiful Country in OR, Rain in WA, Who knows what in americas ha... i mean canada (Just a kid my Northerly Comrads, you know you joke about us too) Windy roads the whole way... Colder as you go, Posibly some dirt roads. A 16 hour ferry ride.... Sounds like it would be a blast, and from what i know of the Uly. it is well up to the job... What do ya'll think?

Sounds like a good trip to me. I've had a 1500 mile 4-day weekend (700 in one day) and a 1000 mile 4-day'er with no issues. the 700 mile day got a bit long, but the Uly handled it flawlessly. No dirt roads, but the UP of Michigan has some pretty s**tty roads.
