I currently have HID's on my bike from the previous owner. However the Ballast's are huge and look sloppy! One is bout to go out or has a loose wire, was looking at DDM tunings 35 W HID kit anyone ever had these or have suggestions on good one's for the Firebolt's? Thanks in advance

I have 2 of DDM's 5K 35w kits on my 1125R and I love them. It was tricky fitting all 4 balasts and relays in there but they fit. I work nights and ride mostly in the dark so I think they are mabey the best mod Ive done to the bike yet.

Each balast I have now is the size of maybe two packs of 100's cigarette's they are huge!! I work from early AM till late at night so I will be in the dark the most also

The balasts are small, alot smaller than I thought. You shouldnt have any problem fitting only 2 balasts in there. This is how much you have to sqeeze in there when you have 4 to install. You can see 2 of the balasts in the middle of the housing on top, angled down and in where the two halves meet.

But I will only need two on the Bolt though right? One for each light? How would that work with the way the lights run?

Yeah, just one balast for each bulb. They were plug and play, real easy install. The hard part was making it all fit. Check out DDMs website, they have install instructions

get the slim 35W balast with the 6000K bulbs they work great!!! Don't forget the delay relay.

Yeah the delays is what I am really needing had one light go out (not blow out) after I started it, it came on again the next time I started.
