Just curious as to how many miles other 1125 riders bikes have. My 2009 CR has 15,360 as of this morning and that seems to be high for the 09s from what I've seen. Anyone with 20+? How many miles are on your 1125s?

just a bit. bought it in 2010 late season and last summer it was in the shipping crate to Puerto Rico so she hasnt been on the road a lot

had a friend sell a 09 with 24,000 miles. had the valves done just before selling, still needed NO adjustment. he rode to save gas, plain and simple. he did have difficulty selling it though, think he only got 4500 for it. kinda sad when he bought it BEFORE the firesale :(

It is disappointing how low our bikes value is but then again i wouldn't have one if they weren't and I have no plan on reselling her. Thats pretty much why I ride mine around allot, to save on fuel.

When I bought mine in 10/11, mine had 1,300. It has a little over 4,000 now. The previous owner sold it to me because he obviously didn't ride much.

I bought my 08 last august with 3800 and this morning its at 13,500. I live up where its cold. Hadn't rode it from october til this month. Yeah I like to ride a lot. My other one I sold I went from 2800 in march to 8600 when I sold it in aug. It was a 05 xb9sx in orange. Rare color for the year.

I've jumped on this soap box many times here on this forum how there needs to be a mind shift in the value of our bikes, especially here on this forum. Anytime someone posts a bike for sale, there's 10 people to follow the post saying "it's too high!" even when they aren't even in the market to buy it!

How many threads do new folks post that are inquiring about a Craigslist ad and if the price is right? Then 10 people tell them to "look elsewhere, it's priced too high."

If people would stop doing that, and forcing others to give their bike away, or low-ball sellers, we could slowly begin to increase the value of our bikes. I know we all want to be confident that we got a "great deal", but there's another side to that sale and when that same person a couple years later turns around to sell their bike and can't get shit for it, they can't be disappointed.

If anyone values these bikes, its the ones who have ridden them/own them. Never understood why so many drive the price into the ground.

My $.02!

I am coming up on my 24K checkup... its an '08, but bought it in May of '09 with 6 miles on it (leftover)

The mechanic who works on my bike had an '08 too. he put 40K miles on his in like a year and a half. He rode the shit out of that thing. He still has it and it is still running... but he is a master-tech who knows 1125s and has the tools and know-how to keep it running

I've owned 4 of these bikes.

Still own the first one, it's got 45k+ on the clock, but pretty much only the chassis is original at this point.

I had over 10k on another '08 I sold a couple of years ago.

I had 8k or so on an '09 I sold last year.

I just bought an 09 CR with 24k on it. I won't put a lot of miles on this bike, but figure a few k a year.

I figure I've got 65k or so in the seat of an 1125.

What have you replaced on your first bike? And damn that's allot of miles for 3 1/2- 4 years on a bike ~16,250 a year[up]

On the first bike? Oh, I'm on my 3rd motor, about that many sets of wheels, 3rd belt, 3rd display cluster, 2nd ecu, 2nd set of forks, 2nd shock (penske now), who knows how many clip ons, front fairing stays, etc, I crash out of, on my 2nd MCs for both brake and clutch, moved to brembo, probably my 10th front rotor and 100th set of brake pads, etc.

Race bikes wear everything out.
