Got rid of the Suburban and i'm not planning on getting another big vehicle like that so it's time to let the carrier go to. Looking to get $150 for it. It would be a bitch to ship so i prefer to sell it to somebody willing to pick it up. I'm in western WA, Lacey area. This thing is tested, drove about 6000 miles with the bike on it without any issues.

review of the carrier

I believe the weight limit of the carrier is 600# I do believe. I wanted one of these but I can't get a class 4 or 5 hitch for my jeep and I'm not going to be welding the hitch to my frame like he did. A class 3 hitch tounge weight barely covers the weight of the bike and carrier not counting that the carrier pin hole to center of bike track is almost 2' which drastically reduces the rated tongue weight of the hitch. These are definitly more suited for a class 4 or 5 hitch. Just my .02

how does hanging all that weight way out back like that affect your steering and front traction?

we are not allowed that sort of thing here in australia. only small light weight items.

Well i drove from Arizona to Ohio with one on the back of my 91 jeep cherokee and it handles fine. Granted i was totally packed looking like the clampets when i would start from a stop to uphill it was a little sketchy but i also had 1200-1500 pounds inside jeep with seats out and just me. Then when she looked like she could handle no more i rode the bolt on it. Sketchy but the hauler worked perfect

Ive been thinking about getting one of those so Ill take it. Even better, I live in Lacey too. Ill PM you with my info. :D
