HMF exhaust

I'm having some issues with my hmf, specifically the mid pipe and can having some blowby. Contacted hmf and they said they'd never had any issues other then packing. Anyone else with an hmf have any problems?

That would be normal on a slip fit (metal to metal, no gasket) exhaust. You can put high temp silicone on it if it really bothers you, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Well the mid pipe has some metal missing where it connects to the muffler and the muffler has a little piece broken off at the same place. I can fix it easily enough, but its still under warranty and hmf tells me I need to replace the entire system and they've never seen that before. I'm not sure I believe them!
