Hey guys! Its been quite a while since ive posted on this board. Anyway, Im having issues with my horn not working after doing the dual headlight mod on a lightning. I remember a while back that some other guys were having similar issues, but I cant find that thread anywhere. Can someone tell me how to get the horn working again with the dual headlight mod done? Thanks alot!

Horn and Headlight circuitry have NO relationship whatsoever. Headlight and Starter button circuitry ARE inner-related. Horn and rear brake light circuitry ARE inner-related.

Explain which "mod" you performed. The swap of wiring at the harness plug...or the jumper wire method? And did the horn immediately stop functioning as soon as you performed the mod or not?

Section B...pages 20-21 service manual for most years shows your circuitry.

Check your horn/brk lt/IEV fuse as well.

May want to check the ground wire connection. It tends to corrode and may have finally broke while doing that mod. It's bolted to the frame almost strait behind the headlight unit.
