only if your leg touch's the pipe :D these bikes are air cooled and they get hot. the search feature on this site will lead you to some good topics discussing this very thing.

If you think its bad now wait untill it gets hot. You better get a right side scoop first, that will make a big difference, if its still to hot you can have your headers ceramic coated one of several colors, platinum, black, and white. You can also wrap your headers but beware once you do you will destroy the finish and you cant go back with out a lot of work. Another way to help cool you and your bike is to invest in custom insulation pads the make them for under your seats and for under the airbox cover. It keep hot air from going into the intake and the under seat one is obvious. It keep your ass cool by keeping the motor heat awawy from you. There is also a plastic snap on peice that goes on the headers ive seen on the Ulyisis It keep heat off your leg. All the info is here. I guess its time to start talking about it again. Lets link shit to this post. Just as a short cut for new people for this spring.

yes it gets a little hot but you can and will get use to it , at least I did(somewhat ecept in stop and go traffic where it is the worse , just try to not sit still to long), I barely even notice it any more, but I also have my header wrapped,(but it still is a little hot at times) but you can ceramic coat it too to help cut some heat down some.

here is where you can get the insulator pads at

There are methods to eliminate the heat. Buell comfort kit is one, shielding the seat and right leg area with reflective insulation materials from DEI.
I ride in comfort when its 90+.

When I put a right side scoop on my Firebolt, I noticed more heat on my thighs, but I would rather have the heat on me, than on my engine.
Where I live, heat is just a fact of life. If it stays below 105, we are having a cold snap.
