How Can I Lower my 1125

Does anyone know weather or not this bike can be lowered? I'd like to pick up at least an inch!

Give Penske Suspension a call. They might be able to make something custom for you to be able to lower it. As of right now though, there isn't a bolt on deal yet.

Hey BPG, why wouldn't the CG forks, rear spring, and shock work? I know the forks will work, but how similar is the rear end?

The forks will not work. They are a lot smaller. Not to mention the lower triple trees a majorly different. and the rear shock is a bit longer already.

I cant recommend this because it will drastically change the way the motorcycle will handle but I called and spoke with Penske Racing. They can build a shock that will lower the rear of the 1125R 1". The shock number is PS-8983, Retail is $875. They would only need two things, the lower(drop)amount if you do not want an inch, and the body weight of the rider. You have several options for the front. Hope that helps.

i sucesfully lowred my 1125 two inches get ahold of worksperformance.com call and speak with pierre or you can email him he is the head engineer there, very knowledgable with his bikes too. He designed it placed some spaceers,new spring and pressurized it. greand total was 260 ish? i dont remember know i had considered buying a tall riding boot but did not want to temporairy fix the problem the bike is perfect for me and has not thrown off any performance for me.

i wear carolina loggers now and i can touch flat footed. thanks to the 1.5" heel on them

irule yea i will i have been having troubles loading my pics but my girlfriend helped me out the other day and i think we got the problem fixed.
