And buy a F'n canoe. It has not stopped raining since Monday, We have gotten over 10 inches of water and we are the lucky ones. Some areas have received close to 20. Daytona International Speedway is flooded out. The entire infield is flooded. Just to put in perspective a inch of rain is equal to 10 feet of ordinary snow, or 7 feet of heavy snow and 20 feet of very light snow. So if this was ordinary snow we would have gotten 100 feet of it in 5 days. The forecast for tonight is rain and tomorrow is rain and Sunday is rain.

That's horrible and a horrible thought, even though I was there all last month. I actually got out one time and had to race back after an hour before the bottom dropped out. My friend wasn't as lucky, he had another half hour in a thunder storm.

This weekend will my first time in a month. This time I'll be nearly 3 hours away, hope the weather holds out.

Don't sell your bike just put pontoons on either side. Or just find a couple plastic 55gallon drums, then you will have the best of both worlds.

Gator don't worry buddy. You guys get the shittiest summers and the best winters my friend. Can't get it all ;), but I know the feeling, lived in Dade County 2 years ago.

I may have to sell my bike also.. because I'm losing my job :( Hope I can find something fast.. ANyone hiring? I'm willing to move

Just stick on a sand dune paddle tire and you would be all set, other than the whole job thing.

Good luck with work, MI unemployment is up above 13%. I am greatful everyday to have a job.

Suprisingly, My new Shinko Stealths which barely have rain grooves (corndog tires) do VERY well in thunderstorms. Bad thunderstorms , ... running 70'ish... so.. Whats your hold up? Got spoiled with year round riding there in FL and don't ride in the rain anymore? [cool]

Its not the rain its the 3 feet of water on the road and the Jackasses that cant drive in the rain.
