I hate ebr 1125 ecm

I have had the ebr ecm installed on my bike for roughly 100 miles. I can't stand it.. I emailed ebr and I got an answer back.. the problem is on decel the engine doesn't work to slow it down.. its like the rev just hangs up around 4k then slowly drops to 3k and so on.. very awkward it stop and go traffic and the sound it makes is terrible.. changed the sound on the low end completely.. the answer I got was that they adjust the engine braking to allow the engine revs to stay higher in the turns. This ecm is strictly for racing.. now the top end is there.. it sounds great and no back fires. Just a terrible low end decel.. my ecm that was mapped by xopti for an hmf pulls just as hard and no issue with decel.. shipping ecm back to ebr unless someone wants it.

How much and what exhaust is it set up for, I'm very interested.

1125cr. And set for keda rt-3.. new they are $305 plus 14 shipping.. I'll take $300 and that includes shipping... as long as your in the U.S.

I have an R it probably work for me will it, if it will, I would take it.

I have the same issue with my barker. My buddy was a mechanic for 30 years. He said since you opened up the exhaust and let it breath the engine doesn't have the back pressure to engine break.

d_adams is completely correct on this...... open flow is good for all engines....

on the ebr website there is an option for the cr and the r... so possibly there is a difference... not sure

It will work but the speedo will be off by about 8%.

they are geared different dude. don't skimp on an ecm. get the correct one for your bike
