I'm a big Clive Cussler fan, I've read just about every one of his books. I just saw the movie Sahara over the weekend, the plot was still good and followed the book fairly well.

What were the producers and casting people thinking? Did they read the books? Matthew McConaughey as Dirk Pitt and Steve Zahn as Al? Wow...
