Can you powder coat Buell foot pegs?????? I have a buell firebolt and i broke one once and it looked like super cheap metal, anyway they will need to sand blast it a little to get the powder to bond so i just need to know has anyone ever actually done it?? Have you ever powder coated your foot pegs and do you have a pic if you dont have a pic thats ok, just let me know asap cause i need to get over to the powder coater and i dont want to destroy all of my foot pegs.

if your worried about the metal,just bring it to your coater and he should be able to tell you if he can do it or not,as long as the metal can withstand the oven temp and not warp you have no issue.I did the same with my gague/fairing mount on my xb9r,I thought the thing would warp but he said it would be fine and it was.Let the pros make the choice.

i have seen powdercoated ones. im sure the guy who will be doing it has a blaster and will if he thinks its necessary.

They are metal, they can be powder coated. They absolutely should be media blasted!

And they look great with the high spots sanded off!
