sweet pulley cover mod. i didn't notice that before. OK so i wanna say this is now 4 or 5th on the to do list. I think I'll move the "wrapping my headers" project to the winter. so maybe i can get this in at #5 after, the headlight mod, breather mod, led mod, and...there was one other mod.

OH macbuell, did you paint your headers. I take it you've been riding a lot, and your don't look like mine. maybe mine weren't taken care of before but they're all discolored from the heat or something. anyways if you did. how did you get the rear header off?

Yeah I did what people on here have suggested and bought a brillow-pad. Just scrubbed it real hard with WD-40 for a while, never took them off. Shined them right up. After riding a bunch now, they have turned that nice golden color. When the gold starts to turn into something different, I will scrub again

sweet thanks macbuell. maybe i'll move that up to #3 since it doesn't require much money.

oh hey macbuell, I've started the primary cover mod. so far its not too hard. cut the whole which is what took the longest. scrubbed off the rust off the primary sprocket (if thats what it is) and i'll be painting it today. I think i'm gonna paint that metal ring (the square one) red and the rest aluminum grey but keep that center black. which is gonna be three separate colors since i already primed them all grey. LOL
I'll post up a pic when done

up here in idaho the winter sucks cause everyone that drives a car should wear a helmet thats why im not riding in the winter months so i just got out the old dbike ramp and rolled my baby up into the kitchen she is all toasty warm and i get to see her every morning when i eat my cereal and every night when im eating diner the old lady is not to pleased with the living arangments but she will get over it or get gone

Update! This winter I pampered my baby, and had the rustoleum stripped, and the frame rails power-coated along with the brake and clutch level, and passenger brackets.

She is now very happy, just waiting for an upcoming warm day to show her off once again! Can check out the new pictures under my member pics.
