I sold my 74 RD350 two stroke twin to get my 03 XB9. I loved and miss the old smoker but the Lightning is just way too much more fun.

It was my second RD. The other was a RD400 Cafe that I did. Was a lot of fun around town but for long distance, it sucked. The XB much better. Plus got the XB and pocketed quite a bit of cash.

Only changes to this Buell will be tail delete, new handle bars, right side scoop, and more carbon fiber. I already removed rear pegs, added frame pucks, has K&N filter and Jardine. Probably change those big turn signals as well.

i have really really wanted a two stroke street bike for a long time. either an rz350r (kenny roberts scheme) or a done up rd400 cafe. im currently trying to unload a 77 xs400. hope you dont miss the ol' ring ding too much

I'm a two-stroke lover at heart and sorely miss my Carabela 200 mx. Much as I love my XB12R, I can't imagine having sold an RD350 to fund it. Guess I have too much other stuff I could sell first
