Lol I've had my bike for three years now, I've just been getting my temps again every year.

my birthday is coming up next week and my license (and my temp motorcycle license) expire. I think I'll go get my full license tomorrow.

Hell, the ride to the BMV is rougher than the test itself.

My uncle has been riding since the 70's he's never had any kind of license.

Anyone else need to get their license still?

I have mine, but if you can ride for so long without incident, more power to you. No test will be able to tell you if you can ride or not. Any old lady on a 5cc scooter can pass the test. I trust you much more.

I got mine based on simple math. The cost of a ticket for no license coupled with not getting the insurance discount for not having a license made enough sense to pay for the class and just be legal. I do my share of riding beyond certain speed limits so might as well reduce the cost of future tickets. Consider it an investment in future mods. [up]

In NC I think you can only get one permit which last a year. I ended up just getting my full license a few weeks ago. The road test was pretty simple if you ride a lot. It's actually cheaper here to have a full license. The permit is 15 for the year and the full license is just an endorsement on your regular license that only adds 1.75 a year.

jaimz, happy early birthday! Treat yourself to a motorcycle license. It's one of those things you can't regret doing. Also, having the endorsement gets you the ability to drive demo models at your local motorcycle dealership!

Go for it jaimz. I just got mine last month after 2 years. Wisconsin has restrictions like you can't ride at nite or with a passenger with your temps. I broke those rules all the time and I was always afraid to get pulled over!

Loki: in Ohio it's "Bureau of Motor Vehicles" hence "BMV"

Jaml18: Ohio has the exact restrictions. I don't ride with a passenger. But I have rode at night... What mostly had me on edge there is that I don't have license plate lights.

I can't wait to show up to take the test with my xb12s it's gonna blow thier minds.

I'll ask "do I get extra credit if I complete the test on only my rear tire?" just to see what they say. Or maybe I should ask "what's the best lap time on this track!?" and act completely serious.

I was there, I signed in. I said "Hey, what's the best lap time on the track?" The a guy turns around and says "You want to find out the hard way?" lol I said "nope" and walked out.

Waiting by my bike, the instructor comes out, I look over and it was they guy that asked me if I wanted to find out the hard way... I felt the odds stacked against me to do personal bias

But not the case, I passed no problem. The instructor though apparently thought my xb12s was under 600cc because he made me run through the small lines. Not like that's a big deal on an XB though.

Then on the way home I thought it'd be funny as hell to see someone stunt their way through the test. oh the instructor would get pissed.

I almost got kicked out of the riders edge course because I was dragging the pegs of the little blast :D.

The instructor told me I was "hot doggin" lol

I Was almost put on a 50cc scooter for Dragging the pegs on a Blast also.....

Instructor was more impressed than mad but still was threatned with the powder blue Vespa looking scooter. He should of known that it would happen when I showed up early on My 12R and was playing on the coures the 1st day.....
