My dad is having his forks powdercoated gloss black on his road king and I can through in some parts for cheap. My triple trees, "W" frame brace, and rear peg brackets are corroded, so I was thinking about throughing them in. My bike is yellow with the silver frame/swingarm/forks/etc... Do you guys think this would look ok? It's very hard for me to picture this kind of stuff...Thanks for the help!

I think Yellow and Black look good together.....Just not sure with your frame being silver.

When I have time and find a good powder coater im having a spair set of wheels, and upper forks powdered in a black chrome. The tripples and lower forks will get chromed. <------ Atleast these are dreams of mine.....lol

Black Chrome powder isnt what you think. If its shot over real chrome or polished aluminum it will look fine but other than that it will have a dull finnish with hints of Burgundy in it.

To the first question, It would look fine on the engine bracket, as the primary cover is black but the trees dont have anything black to tie in to. Just my .02

Freak where are you located, I own a powder shop and have a few contacts through out the country. Should be able to find someone close to you.

I know that it needs to be shot over chromed or polished parts. I live 1hr east of Dallas, Tx.

Snrusnak....didnt mean to jack your thread.
Like Hammer said It would be fine on the w-bracket. The tripples would look out of place on a silver frame.

Thanks for the input, what do you think about the rear peg brackets? I was thinking of doing those but leaving the pegs and heel guards silver. I'll leave the triples, plus they are alot of work to get off. Can I remove the w-bracket withouth supporting the engine? I noticed there is a little tie bar or something connected to the front of the motor from the w-bracket...
