So I finally decided to check out this forum deal, this is my story...

I'm the very proud owner of an amazing 2009 Buell 1125CR. This cool thing about my bike was that I bought it with 3 miles on it. By the time I got it home from the dealership or as you guys call it, the stealership, I had over 3,000 miles on it. I bought it in Grand Rapids MI and road it to my house in San Diego CA. It was awesome! Here is a link to my trip home if you care: http://picasaweb.google.com/froader4life/JeffSTripHome2010?authkey=Gv1sRgCNbg5OmWwMCMRA#

Anyways, I feel lucky because I haven't had any issues with my bike. No major ones at least. But I am now waiting for my 3rd muffler. First one had a bunch of paint chipping and cracking off and the actually warranted it, kind of surprisingly. But when I went to pick it up, the new muffler had 4 major dents and missing paint. So now I'm waiting for my 3rd one to get delivered.

The only other "issue" I am having is the clock on my cluster. It runs fast. It adds about a minute every 2 days. Has anyone else had this problem? Not a big deal but it's annoying! My bike can tell me exactly how much fuel it's using instantly, but can't tell me the correct time?

Anyways, I am planning on getting that GPR stabilizer and would love to get a slip on Free Spirit exhaust. Also am almost due for a rear tire and am thinking of throwing on a 200 rear tire. Already put the 2010 rear clear LED tail light and the fender elimantor on it and it lookes a lot better already.

Any imput or advice is welcome.

DUDE!! thats sweet!!

I was actually talking to the sales guys about you, they were all buzzing about it for a while and decided to share with me one day.

welcome to the family

a 190/50 rear will turn in faster than either a 180 or a 200

also the GPR stabilizers are on sale at ASB
100 bucks off till the new year!

welcome...cool pics and story . I like the pic also of the bike in the room ..lol

Great stuff! Hell of a ride. Saw that you passed through my home town, St louis, Mo. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum! Nice CR! I just fit up my axle sliders on my friend's CR that looks just like it. Enjoy the bike and the forum.[up]

Awesome, GR Harley is the only Buell Dealer around my parts here in MI. I thought about doing the same thing with a bike last year but it would have been Texas to MIchigan.

Great way to break in the bike see the views and learn your bike all at once!

When did you buy the bike? Cause it is cold and miserable right now in MI.

I picked it up in early october. It was perfect timing. I didn't get rained on once and the weather was perfect. It did go from about 45 degrees one day in Colorado to 100 later that day in Arizona. I took about a week of riding to get home, sometimes riding up to 550 miles. Every time the fuel light went on it was welcomed!

I have never had so many compliments on a bike before. Everyone told me how cool my bike looked. Hotel maids, random moms, lots of people at the gas stations. And that was when I still had the license plate hanging way down low. It really is a great bike. Just needs to be a little louder so I can hear it on the highway and others can hear me coming too. I now have about 4000 miles on it. I need to get to 7500 so that I can put on a CA plate. Damn smog laws in CA. But I'm happy I got a bike without the extra smog stuff for CA.

Here is the only real mod I have done. I couldn't wait to get home to do it!
