So I had court today I had received a ticket for failure to yield even though she was driving a black car with no headlights at six in the morning! So I went to court to plea innocent after receiving a continuance and missing 28hrs of work! I had my pictures ready to prove her headlights were actually off. The judge was throwing big fines and penalties at everyone even if I thought their stories made them sound like they were innocent.I was ready to lay it out there with no lawyer and basically say how could I yield to something I couldn't see. they called my docket number and name I went in front of the judge and said good morning. she then said on August 5th 2014 you were cited for failure to yield how do you plead I replied not guilty she said case dismissed for lack of prosecution! Aka cop didn't show up they were banking on me to just pay the fine. So there you go you may still get stuck with the bad end of something but unless you stick it out you'll never know!
