installing race map with out intake mods......will there be an issue?

Just got the hawk muffler installed, sounds and feels way better.....now I want to install a race map, BUT I have not done anything with the intake. I have people telling it will be an issue, what do you guys think?

if you're going to do a race map you might as well drop the money for a better filter

You will be fine with the stock air filter though. EBR has won races with stock air filters on their race bikes. I have a Hawk muffler and stock air filter on mine. The only other thing I have done performance-wise was upload a race map, and tune it for the Jardine exhaust that I had at the time. The same map has worked EXTREMELY WELL with my newly installed Hawk Muffler.
