I think I need to replace the boot but I cant figure out how to get the old one off. do you have to take the whole carburetor off or can you do something else? I also hope this will let my bike start. also, is there anywere I can get the boot cheap? if so could you post the link please.

I got the boot off but I don't see any tears or holes should I still replace it? my bike wont start

I got the boot off and no cracks in it should I still replace it? my bike wont start think its not getting fuel maybe.

took carb off and fuel came out so guess it is getting fuel. any other reasons why it wouldn't start. checked for spark from plug boot and there is but haven't checked plug itself yet. also could someone give me a link to a cheap carb boot for a 2002 buell blast please.

Just because you get fuel in the carb, doesn't mean your carb or das boot are good.
I just had the same problem, and my issue was blocked idle jet.
Make sure idle jet is visibly NOT blocked. If you look through it perpendicularly, you should be able to see the other end (very tiny hole),
